Portugal is our home and we pay special attention to the preservation of the fauna and flora of this part of the planet.
By producing our medronho brandy according to the highest ecological standards, we work to create the most suitable environment so that the endemic species of south Portugal can live in synergy with the human culture and the medronho heritage.
The image in the label honors the Portuguese native fauna. Our first edition of Albarya depicts the Iberian lynx (Lynx pardinus) – a species of medium-sized wild cats whose growing population currently amounts to an estimated 1600 individuals (2023).
